the 2025 Southern Solitude collection

Southern Solitude is my collection of five immersive mixed media landscape paintings that celebrate the quiet beauty of the South. Each piece invites the viewer into a serene retreat—beneath the veil of Spanish moss, within the rustic charm of a garden shed, by the still waters of a lakeside cabin, across the golden hush of the low country marsh, and on the untouched shore of a secluded island. With flowing layers of alcohol inks and a palette rich in deep greens and blues, these works capture the essence of solitude and a deep connection with nature, offering a moment of peace to those who seek it.
